playshopping. 6 of many

sir annoying allan wasn't around today, probably because of beauty&thebeast rehearsals. so, kuya bongga bong facilitated the session and it was fun to do tension and improv exercises after weeks of "who do you say i am?" rehearsals. it started with everyone walking around, then jogging, then running, then freezing, then running, then lying on the floor, then jumping, then running, then freezing, then....

also did two more tension exercises followed by an improv exercise called "the brain" which was really funny. showed how close the class is as a class. even newcomer lianna seemed to have fun. haha then we ran through the musical again...

putting our fears behind us

not knowing where He would lead

those are my only solo lines for the entire play and i never did it flawlessly so far. some parts are duets with jay and we laugh everytime we do or think about this part. practice practice practice. haha i should get voice lessons... i need voice lessons.

those lines were from the song 'we followed the man', by the way. and i rarely go religious [or how julienne described our showcase- charismatic] but the lyrics of the song ["we followed the man, we followed his voice...though we did not understand"] made me really think about God and believing in Him. i do, i really do. i talk to Him a lot but i also question His existence a lot. i don't know. we're always asked to believe without doubt, follow even if "we do not understand". but how do we know if what we believe in is true if we do not understand? haha i don't know. i'll know soon...

...anyhoo, our next playshop classes are at 7pm so i got no excuse left to cut for itm11. and i heard that we won't be having any rehearsals this saturday which means i got the whole day free for the gawad kalinga immersion trip. anyone else wanna come? if u want details, just email me or something!
