after some dancing lessons, improv games and the auditon day, we started working for our showcase on the 27th of May.

it's called "who do you say i am?", an Easter musical. a musical about Jesus without Jesus on stage. the makers say it's a presentational musical not a representational musical. whatever the difference, it sure sounds like a praise and worship concert. over the weeks, as we immerse ourselves more and more with this material, i think i'll understand better the reasons why this musical was chosen, even made.

and oh, new friends from playshop found a new place to stay after class. at that sushi bar [with a not so good calif maki, i must add] in shang's bar strip. we used to stay at boca boca for the past 5 or so sessions... and all we do is talk talk and talk. pretty fun to think we were strangers just weeks ago. 15 sessions more and hopefully the calatagan thing will push through as a class. woohoo
