was watching this info.tech show on bbc and they were talkin about some cool sites on the internet and so i checked one. pretty cool, searched for some videos and songs and stuff then i saw the webby awards ad on it. vanity fair said the Webbys are "better than the Oscars." so i checked it out too.

there i saw lots and lots of cool cooler coolest sites and now i sound like a techie geek. anyhoo, i would love to share them with you here in case you realize that internet surfing is slightly better than cross-stitching and more worthwhile than a ja rule concert.

everyone loves elevators. uhm, yeah so this one's a site all about elevators and the poor people stuck inside. some clips are real funny. but only if there's nothing else to laugh at. but like good ol' elevators, the buttons are real cool and fun to play with.

now you guys heard about the therapeutic powers of white noise? such as the sound of waves hitting the beach or stones dropped on a pond. this site shows, without words without ads, what life is with water. its got really cool clips and interactive stuffs. a duck floating on a pond, a pail waiting to be filled up by an artesian well, frogs hopping to and fro, lost crabs not knowing where to go, feet on the beach cleansed by the coming tide, jellyfishes moving from here to there, bubbles blown by some girl. tsunami victims should watch this site. pretty cool, takes time to load though. but real worth it... i can hear the waves hitting the beach right now. an easy to love site.

you guys sure love to use google right. you search and click and tons of words pop out and stuff. but we all want more than just words, and since pictures are worth a thousand words why don't we know what's going on this very hour through images googled right this very hour, all on a ten by ten frame. i like how the words on the side increase in size as you rollover though, much more than the images on the frame. but it's fun.

wanna know what the latest movies are like but don't have the time to read lengthy reviews? then check the four word film review. film reviews of all films in just four words. haha

here's a good fashion site from alexander mcqueen. fancy animation for a fancy site for fancy stuff by "the man who knew too much." another best fashion site nominee is nike's genealogy of speed. pretty cool time tree for a pretty cool company selling pretty cool shoes.

if you saw my links to mcsweeney's to the right and enjoyed the literary works there, it's a webby awardee too, you'll also enjoy the national lampoon. haven't really checked it yet but its got more and more links to more and more funny stuff too... like really funny but honest billboards or the really stupid but really true news stories or to everyone's favorite item and just recently featured on the tonight show, the world's first whore college.


suddenly i was reminded of "the internet is for porn" statement from avenue q, a broadway musical that julienne, of playshop, said was good. and yes, the internet is for porn.

do tell me if you find a cool cooler coolest site. [currently listenin' to the sound of ice being shaved by the beach then laden with some sort of juice with a trickling sound loud enough for me to hear, thanks to that no water site].
