emo with style

one of the things that make me all giddy and proud
of this craft they call theater performance
is seeing growth.

seeing others grow.
seeing yourself grow.
seeing characters grow.
seeing stories grow.

and glow.
spring awakening had their final performance last night
and i was not alone in saying
how the cast grew.

'bitch of living' and 'totally fucked' rocked
but even the space and silence in between felt good
even if my neck was hurting for i was too close.

even the learning circle is growing too.
it will be our first anniversary next month
and for our pre-anniv lc i shared what i know of improv.

and it was fun and fun but full of good reminders.
