a poem by an African man
Dear White fella,
Coupla things you should know:
When I born, I black
When I grow up, I black
When I go in sun, I black
When I cold, I black
When I scared, I black
and When I die, I still Black...
and you, White fella,
When you born, you pink
When you grow up, you white
When you go in sun, you red
When you cold, you blue
When you scared, you yellow
When you sick, you green
and When you die, you gray...
and you be calling me Coloured?!
he's got a point, you know.
got it from this editorial on philippine star, oct21,2005 issue
had a great day today despite the ab cramps early morning forcing me to spend the rest of the day all for myself and not to help out with blueREP sweet charity audish [which were extended, nov11!]. found myself trying out this new healthy restaurant called hi.lo at shang. not that bad. also found out that fish&co is opening tomorrow, also at shang. watched charlie and the chocolate factory again today [with cute subtitles, you know that part when johnny depp calls an oompa loompa with an ululu sound, the subtitle would read "ululates". cute], and i must say i still am loving it, which puts it on my list, a list that requires all those in it to be reviewed at least twice [except for chocolat and the motorcycle diaries and into the woods and n.e.r.d].
lisnin to so high, john legend
sortof readin albino sheep
feelin kinda full and hungry and good
