OD to do
the world's longest buffet.
good idea gone bad
i had more fun taking pictures of people assaulting the food servers than actually eating. "not so glamorous," said one pretty fine lady. but papu, his friends, jed, joy, gary, ozy and joms made it an experience
so now that these red spots are less itchy, a bit, i can now talk of how my week in baguio, in benguet went. damn do i miss you guys already. thanks for that one hell of an evaluation seminar
through this one entire bus strains got for everyone, we reached this certain place in benguet owned by noel at around 3pm and we were welcomed by a truly beautiful view. the first day was rest-y and we newbies were asked to observe how the engagement teams worked and boy was i overwhelmed with all the discipline and the science and the ooh-aahs involved. then it was the traditional treasure hunt, which was real fun but made the rest of my life itchy ever since.
then every single detail of strains was evaluated. from the trainings to the human resources department to the logistics to the products. even the vision-mission statement wasn't spared. and that took a lot of time. a huge lot. talk about hours just for a sentence or two. but they were all worth it 'cause we knew of strains more now than ever, even for the oldies who new the org by heart ever since their freshmen years. wow
organizational development. OD. that is what strains is all about and we are trained to become OD consultants. rather fancy term for a rather fancy job by rather fancy people. and like what i said during that whole commitment thing, strains is number 2 on my list next sem, from last sem's number 4. to do OD is my way to serve, our unique way of changing the world. lisnin to our time from merrily we roll along. "you know, after this moment... we are gonna be able to do anything. anything we ever dreamed of. what a time to be alive!" sure is what i felt after those strains moments, you guys. damn it feels like the day after a theater production or days around my highschool graduation bash or the last day the baklayberx was ever really complete. heavy in an it-ain't-so-bad kind of way
sortof readin directories
feelin kinda itchy. still awfully itchy
