maybe because

many people know
i'm really excited about this race.

my brother has been wondering why anyone should care or why i check at least five websites every day just to get updated. i give the usual reply of how this race determines who gets to be the most powerful man in the world.

but i'm honestly not too sold on that reply.
maybe because there is more to this race than just that.

maybe because i've been watching them rant since the primaries.

maybe because i've read too many other rants i can barely understand.

maybe because my sinus hurts but i stay awake totally bothered by this columnist who gets comforted by the thought of a particular governor watching out for "sneaky Russians."

maybe because deep inside me i just want all these to happen closer to home than it currently is.

maybe because i just can't find a good enough reason.
