fun in the finds
it's a simple pleasure to have spotted a book in the library that is not at all what you were first looking for.
this week it is carl sagan's the demon-haunted world: science as a candle in the dark.
maybe if i read this four years ago, i'd be in med school by now. or some lab.
but no regrets. management and the arts have similar nuances.
but what's nice about the book is that it's funny and relevant and simple and yet wildly insightful.
one other interesting find i found was this idea i spotted via springwise.com months ago.
it was about turning leaves into plates and now i've been going around convincing people to support the idea.
earlier, our strategy formulation and implementation class' business venture group performed a mock defense of the said business idea and i was very happy with how it turned out.
last is God's wonderful gift of allowing me to find time for anything little or big, so long as they're interesting. steph and carlos and i will kill each other if we shared what we found time for just yesterday. let's just say we had really good food.
to the stuff we find. cheers.
raissa shared this site www.storyofstuff.com
