enough said
like what i said to around a thousand high school student leaders in benitez hall: that i lost my voice may mean that i have said everything i wanted to say.
my voice still isn't fully recovered, which is sad because i was the one who kept reminding the group to use the diaphragm. project and modulate not with ones throat.
i'm a bit sick too thanks to the weather.
but like every other facilitator who did the almost-impossible the past four days, it was well worth it. and you're on a high once again.
only this time, you get feedback that you made one hell of a difference.
to at least one life or two, to at least one region or two, to at least one colleague or two.
the results are not in yet, it will take years for that peer2peer slash leadership training to bear fruit. the event was not free of controversy either, what with "imeldious" herself on the program (see today's inquirer editorial, a wonderful reminder, here)
but again, i learned a lot and had so much fun my jaws hurt.
i could not count the number of times where i just had to step back and say: crap, did that just happen 'cause it was totally beautiful.
totally beautiful.
almost 60 beautiful ateneans.
almost 6000 student leaders.
my last was my best
and i thank You for letting me.
