it is Christmas in Cebu
and in many places around the world
and in time

many more will be merry.

not few
are the messages
that i have read

reminding me of the "real" reason,
the "true" spirit of Christmas.
people speak of the "aesthetics"
that even the "atheistics"
overlook the "politically incorrect"

they were so many, that i fell asleep
before the clock stroke 12.
for the first time in a long while.

just real tired, i guess.

rather different from years back
when people insisted on "happy holidays" over "merry Christmas"

to be polite.
well,
sometimes,
we rather wish

to be merry.
